昨日、会社で会議にあった。私たちはいろいろのことを話した。新しい同僚を紹介したり、夏休みのことを話したりした。

今日は、８時４５分ごろ起きた。９時に、うちを出て、会社に行った。土曜日の働く時間は午前９時から、午後１時まで。でも、今日は全然忙しくなかったから、１２時５０分ごろ会社を出て、ミニバースとバースに乗って教会へ行った。行くとき、スーパーで寿司を買った。それは昼ごはん。

教会の後、会議があったり、友達と話したりした。夜８時は、家族とサーティンの中国のレストランで晩御飯を食べた。サーティンはいろいろ店がある。食事をして、すぐタクシーでうちへ帰った。料理はちょっと高いが、おいしいと思う。

不明所以

批改學生作文時，往往會遇到辭不達意、內容空洞的文章。難以解釋的句子多不勝數，如下句：

"They could make we fell pack bad after you can't eat many."

這些句子需要天馬行空的想像力，以及中文的語感(對，不是英文的)，才能拆解。以本句為例，"they"是指上句的irresistible snacks，因此他想說的應該是「這些零食可令我們吃得很飽，以致不能再吃。」吧。

Fruitful night

Back home at last! Well it's a fruitful night; i had a great practice with Sui Mau for the coming worship on Sun. This is my second time to serve as pianist, and although i'm not nervous (at all), i hope to do my best.

During practice Sui Mau played a video from Youtube to confirm some dubious tempos. It was actually a clip from Passion, a controversial movie on the last part of Jesus's life on earth. The scene depicted how He was tortured and teased by reckless soldiers. Together with the vocal and the stunning violin that accompanied, it made a great impact on me. Had he not suffered for my sake, one day i would receive the same judgement - or even one far beyond my imagination.

The songs are well selected, ensuring a thematic coherence and a smooth flow of ideas. We decided to modify the style of one song, though, as what we'll be having is a piano rather than a collection of percussions.

Hope everything turns out well. Strength is what i need; hopefully it's just a prayer away =]
